It’s official! Benrie Sanders has ended his presidential campaign, making him a twice failed candidate.
Sanders made the announcement on Wednesday morning in a virtual correspondence due to COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, and the inability to have political rallies during quarantine.
His announcement comes on the first day of Passover, the Jewish holiday in which Jews celebrate their liberation from Egypt in the form of an Exodus.
Every year, Passover gives Jews the opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate true freedom and emphasizes the fact that Jews must never return to a Mitzrayim (enslavement in Egypt) again.
However, it can be argued that with Bernie Sanders in the White House, Jews would indeed be some of the hardest hit victims of his presidency, which is ironic, given that Bernie Sanders is himself a Jew, a self-hating one at best.
Anti-Semitism is a stain on humanity, and given that today is about celebrating the liberation of the Jewish people, it is indeed a blessing that Bernie Sanders has ended his campaign today, on Passover of all days.
I find it to be rather symbolic given that he has surrounded himself on the campaign trail with advisors like Linda Sarsour, and has campaigned proudly with Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, who are modern day plagues on Jewish and Christian people, let alone our entire country.
Benrie Sanders once said,
“A guy named Adolf Hitler won an election in 1932. He won an election, and 50 million people died as a result of that election in World War II, including 6 million Jews. So what I learned as a little kid is that politics is, in fact, very important.”
However, if Bernie Sanders truly cared about Jewish people and their survival, and if he truly opposed the horrors of anti-Semitism which led to the Holocaust, he would not have welcomed an army of anti-Semites into his campaign, all of whom have a direct connection to the Nation of Islam.
We should never forget that Louis Farrakhan, the leader of Nation of Islam, who has stated on multiple occasions that “Hitler was a very good man”, has openly praised Ilhan Omar for her Jew hatred; Rashid Tlaib once wrote for Farrakhan’s paper, and Linda Sarsour has openly praised Farrakhan and refused to condemn him, even after he said, ““I don’t care what they put on me. The government is my enemy, the powerful Jews are my enemy.”
While knowing all of this and being fully aware of these women and their history of Jew hatred and deep ties to Nation of Islam and the Black Hebrew Israelite movement in America, Bernie welcomed all three of these anti-Semites into his campaign, and promised to work with them on policy if he ever became President.
In December of 2019, four Americans were murdered in an anti-Semitic shooting at a kosher market in Jersey City. The shooters were members of the Black Hebrew Israelites. When the shooting first occurred, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a Sanders ally, used the death of innocent Jews as a way to blame President Trump, and falsely labeled the attack as an act of ‘white supremacy” as the cause of the murders. However, when it was revealed that the attack was carried out by followers of the Black Hebrew Israelites who admired Louis Farrakhan, who she herself wrote for, Tlaib deleted her tweet and remained completely silent on the shooting, along with Ilhan Omar and AOC, all of whom continued to be embraced by Bernie Sanders, who shamefully bragged that he would be the “first Jewish President”.
One would expect that a Jewish presidential candidate would express appreciation to President Donald Trump, who is arguably the most pro-Israel and pro-Jewish president we have ever had. Instead, Sanders willingly surrounded himself and his campaign with associates of Islamic terrorists, BDS proponents, and unapologetic anti-Semites who hurl false accusations of white supremacy and Nazism at a President who has worked tirelessly to combat the type of Jew hatred that Sanders has put on a pedestal.
The ‘squad’ (Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) claim to fight for justice and they claim to be a voice for racial minorities. Jewish people are racial minorities, yet they are excluded from the Squad’s vision of justice and human rights, which has been exemplified by their refusal to distance themselves from outspoken anti-Semites who make up a large portion of the Democrat Party’s growing radical left coalition.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is one of Sanders’s most outspoken supporters. On multiple occasions, she has called Trump anti-Semitic for saying that Jewish House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff was ‘shifty’. Meanwhile, she has refused to condemn her squad sisters for their open anti-Jewish remarks that were so appalling that even Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was forced to draft a House anti-Semitism resolution.
In January 2019 amid an anti-Semitism scandal which exposed the Women’s March as a front for the Nation of Islam, AOC still made the decision to speak at the Women’s March, where she ignored bi-partisan concerns about Women’s March organizers promoting anti-Semitism.
AOC also endorsed Jeremy Corbyn, a noted anti-Semite, on the eve of the British election. Of course, none of this phased “Jewish” Bernie Sanders who said he was “very impressed” by Corbyn.
Through his presidential campaign, Bernie not only mainstreamed communism in America, but he mainstreamed anti-Semitism on a global scale, by giving a platform to the world’s most notorious Jew haters.
In 2019, Ilhan Omar was voted in as 2019’s biggest antisemite, according to stopantisemitism.org. Sen. Bernie Sanders campaigned with Rep. Ilhan Omar in Virginia in March of this year, where he called the controversial congresswoman “one of the greatest people I know.” In his own words, the greatest woman Bernie knows is a supporter of the BDS movement and a woman who refuses to condemn HAMAS and Hezbollah, terrorist organizations responsible for the killing of thousands of innocent Jews.
Bernie Sanders *almost* became the Democrat Party’s nominee for President, twice.
On this passover, Jews will not be able to congregate for their Seders, and will instead celebrate in isolation due to the spread of the Chinese Virus (COVID-19). Now more than ever, Jews around the world will be able to relate to their ancestors who spent the first seder in isolation amid ongoing plagues, hopeful for their freedom and liberation. Today, we are also hopeful that this virus will pass, and that in this election year of 2020, we can maintain our freedoms and avoid the clenched fist of communism that Bernie Sanders and his progressive cohorts so desperately want to impose on the world.
This passover, let us all come together to celebrate as we have all been liberated from the plague of having yet another communist anti-Semite in the White House.
