No immediate interest from Washington since it can’t easily parlay it into a NATO expansion but it’s probably whispering into Turkey’s ear.
“Turkey has transferred ‘Syrian rebel’ units to join the fighting on Azerbaijan’s side.”
Boy, they’re in for a surprise when they discover Azeris are 90% Shi’a. I wonder what stance Georgia will take, as it supposedly has an Orthodox affinity with Armenia.
We ordered Georgia to stay out of it and mind their own business. We don’t like other nations to interfere where we might consider interfering.
WW – I am quite certain that Turkey and Erdogan are well aware that Azeris are 90% Shia. It might have more to do with the history between Turkey and Armenia than it has with religion.
Georgia isn’t really in shape to be intervening in anything, on either side.
