With 2020 behind us, we all wish for a better year to come. However, Governor Cuomo wants to lock you up and send you into a “detention center” if you are deemed to pose a risk to public health even if you may not necessarily have come in contact with someone who has COVID. New York State has pre-filed a bill, Bill A416, that “[R]elates to the removal of cases, contacts and carriers of communicable diseases that are potentially dangerous to the public health.” Section 1 § 2120-A. states as follows:

REMOVAL AND DETENTION OF CASES, CONTACTS AND CARRIERS WHO ARE OR MAY BE A DANGER TO PUBLIC HEALTH; OTHER ORDERS. 1. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE UTILIZED IN THE EVENT THAT THE GOVERNOR DECLARES A STATE OF HEALTH EMERGENCY DUE TO AN EPIDEMIC OF ANY  COMMUNICABLE DISEASE.

The state of New York has been on lockdown for months now due to COVID. Bill 416A takes it one step further: it is a fascist, Orwellian declaration right before our very own eyes. No matter what political party you identify with, every single American should see this as a bad idea. Never in history has “detention centers” turned out to be a good idea.

This is the same governor backed by the New York City mayor; Bill De Blasio, who has scapegoated the Orthodox Jewish community and bolstered his popularity through antisemitism. Governor Cuomo has not been shy about his disdain for the Jewish community. This past year, he posted fourteen year old photographs of the Jewish community gathering, claiming it was during the coronavirus restrictions. He blamed Covid’s spread on lack of enforcement within this community alongside a blatant disregard for the social distancing measures among the Orthodox.

If that wasn’t bad enough, Cuomo and De Blasio said much during 2020 that specifically blamed the Jewish community. They sent police into ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods to spy on Jews in schools and synagogues, publicly recording them in the streets. NY city and state authorities went to their businesses and fined them anyway that they could. If you don’t think they are singling out the Jewish community, see what Daniel Greenfield discusses. He points out that Muslims were permitted to celebrate their holidays in the streets while Jews were not. NY’s top Democrats blamed Jews for spreading the virus; they were silent about Muslim gatherings.

Recently, an article circulated claiming that the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community received vaccines and were administering them illegally. It was another lie but that didn’t seem to matter. Cuomo vowed consequences to violators.

Andrew Cuomo publicly broadcasts his thoughts and rules daily. With antisemitic attacks, being  60.2% of all religious hate crimes in the year 2019; and having gone up 96% in 2020, one would assume you would be cautious with what you share. Instead, Cuomo has repeatedly fanned the flames of Jew hatred.

Lastly, New York has implemented rules on vaccine distribution. During an interview with the Pulse of Israel, Caroline Glick mentioned that guidelines for the vaccine distribution were to be going out to minority communities affected the most by COVID after first responders; except for the most affected, the ultra-Orthodox Jewish community. Such again singles out the Jew. Glick explains how the left is othering the “white Jew” as a means by which to to attack the aggregate white population. They cannot be openly racist against the country’s white majority, so they play out their racist protocols against the Jew to get away with it.

What this bill will lead to is the rounding up of the ultra-Orthodox Jewish communities into “detention centers” as if it were 1941 all over again. The consistent anti-Semitism of Governor Cuomo and De Blasio will lead to the Jewish community going into these camps first.

Never Again was a promise that we did not make lightly. Never Again is now. Are you going to remain silent because you believe it could never happen again? Or are you going to stand up for what is right? These Orwellian fascist mandates must be stopped. We will not allow this here, in America, in the year 2021. It’s time to take action.

NEVER AGAIN IS NOW.

Speak up!
